About Us
Stevens Products Ltd is the New Zealand distributor for Walker Mowers and is a third-generation family business. We operate from a modern, purpose-built facility in Auckland. Our large front lawn including the specially angled mound is used for research and development purposes.
Originally an engineering business, Stevens maintains its own prototype development facility which we believe gives us an edge over our competitors. We strive to acclimatize our product offering for New Zealand conditions, and many ideas developed in Stevens’ prototyping facility have been adopted by overseas manufacturers and are in production today.
During the 1980’s Stevens manufactured mid, front and rear mounted mowers for tractors, and then began manufacturing commercial self-propelled walk-behind mowers. Today our OPE Division supply’s quality machinery through distribution across New Zealand.
