Operator comfort — the best seat in the house

On a Walker mower, the operator is positioned on top, and in the centre of the turning radius, providing a stable ride and an unobstructed view of the mowing area in front.

The Forward Speed Control (FSC) — think cruise control — allows the operator to relax and only provide precision steering input when required. This is an advantage over even other lever-steer designs, which require the operator to hold the levers forward to drive, increasing fatigue. Comparatively, mid-mount mower operators need to look directly down to view the mowing area, and are jostled side to side when turning. Both these factors make the Walker a faster, more precise mowing machine.
